Because the column names are difficult to parse (in that the special charater &#8220;\/&#8221; is frequently used),\u00a0I modified the 11th column name from &#8220;comics\/items\/0\/name&#8221; to &#8220;firstcomicname.&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/open?id=0B1KM70jlEfvpZmQxeGtTb3ROeGM\" target=\"_blank\">Marvel.R<\/a>\n<ul>\n<li>If you run the entire script in R, you&#8217;ll see a comparison between characters classified as X-Men and characters classified as Avengers.\u00a0I used a rough classification:\n<ul>\n<li>xmen = characters whose firstcomicname contains &#8220;X-Men&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>avengers = characters whose firstcomicname contains &#8220;Avengers&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>I hope you can use this script to help form your own analyses\u00a0for your final datasets!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp; Are there significantly more appearances of X-Men or Avengers characters in the Marvel Universe?
