If the visualization is online, it should be deployed on a standalone web page\u2014do not use code playgrounds like JSFiddle or Codepen. The visualization should employ\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">introductory text and titles<\/span> as well as\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">keys, colors, annotations<\/span>, and any other other\u00a0information needed for a user to understand the vis.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Include a background write-up<\/strong> (at least 800 words on your blog is fine) with an MLA-formatted bibliography containing at least <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">5<\/span> scholarly articles. Be sure to address the following points in the write-up. I will evaluate your project based on these points:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>NEW FOR THE FINAL:<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>If your vis uses the same data from the midterm, how is it an <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">expansion<\/span> on the work you did for the midterm? Is the expansion significant?<\/li>\n<li>If your vis is screen-based, how did you conduct a <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">simple statistical analysis<\/span> on the data? Please calculate and discuss\u00a0basic values including mean, min\/max, range, and correlation. If applicable, also discuss significance and t-test results,\u00a0etc.<\/li>\n<li>If your vis is tangible, how did you conduct a <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">persona design exercise<\/span> to envision interaction scenarios for the system? (Alternatively, you can use other <a href=\"http:\/\/www.designkit.org\/methods#filter\" target=\"_blank\">ideation exercises<\/a>.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>How is your overall visualization <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">significant,\u00a0unique, and relevant<\/span> to general audiences?<\/li>\n<li>What is the <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">data source<\/span>? How is it significant?<\/li>\n<li>What <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">questions<\/span> does your visualization\u00a0help answer?\u00a0What is the best medium for this representation? (i.e. poster, model, web page)<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px; line-height: 1.6;\">Please discuss\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">prior work<\/span>, \u00a0prototypes, or sketches for your visualization. It can be both others&#8217; work (please cite them in your bibliography) and\/or\u00a0your own work.\u00a0How have these predecessors refined your work for this project?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px; line-height: 1.6;\">What is the\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">subset of the general audience<\/span> that could especially use or appreciate your visualization?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px; line-height: 1.6;\">How is your visualization <span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">implemented<\/span>? What technologies does it use?<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 20px; line-height: 1.6;\">How is your visualization meant to be used?
