Login to to NYU through login.library.nyu.edu or home.nyu.edu, then watch one of these D&T/gaming documentaries on Kanopy. (Note: If you’re using Safari and the video player doesn’t work, use a different browser.) Some of the documentaries are more than 1 hour long, so you might have to finish watching after class:
Phase 2, Blog Post #8. Discuss what you did in the 2pm hour of class today (attend the conference, watch a movie on Kanopy, or some of both).

Mapping Inequality: Redlining in New Deal Americaย (Univ. of Virginia digitized maps and data): โHOLCโs department of Research and Statistics drew upon its network of realtors, developers, lenders, and appraisers to create a neighborhood-by-neighborhood assessment of more than 200 cities in the country. These assessments included demographic data, economic reports, and the color-coded Security Maps later deemed infamous as instruments of โredlining.’โ
